The Peat Inn
our comments
In the very welcoming and charming Peat Inn, David Wilson prepares the finest in Scottish cuisine. The taste is not only delicious, but has that home-cooked goodness that so aptly matches the decorum. Those who enjoy fine wine should also be tempted by the 400 plus bins of wine in the cellar that are very reasonably priced.- October 2004

For anyone visiting the area of Fife in Scotland, this restaurant is an absolute MUST! It is in quite a remote location but worth the trouble to find. I have eaten at many top London restaurants including Le Gavroche, Claridges and River cafe and Peat Inn would easily rate well against my top five. Diners should expect near to London prices as well though. Food, staff and service were impeccable. If you go there Peat Inn is a restaurant with rooms, which also looked to be of a high standard.
