i agree with the previous comment. it is over priced....although very popular. i prefer the tearoom round the corner if you want soup. its cheaper and very nice. staff are friendly too.

This tea shop is very good, but the soup (a very small bowl) is over-priced at £3.95. Staff are not friendly and don't acknowledge us even though we have been going there for about 20 years. They could do with smiling a bit more. Overall, food is good, but expensive for what you get. I will keep going back for the home-made bread alone !
